It's official!!

I just got the okay from my ENDO about my surgery. Since they have me on the max amount of beta blockers and such a high dose of anti-thyroid meds and my levels are where they are he says the surgery needs to be done. My thyroid is toxic basically and since it is attacking itself and not responding to meds this is my option w/out doing the radioactive iodine. I am so relieved to hear that we can finally move forward and I just want it out, and as I say that I can feel my thyroid throbbing! I am anxious to get it out, but not excited for the pain - I don't know how you prepare for that? I will keep you all posted, and after Friday I'm not sure when I will start updating the blog. Caden's Birthday is on the 20th of July (this Sunday) so we will be celebrating it later, most likely the next week. I'll post those pictures and maybe some of my surgery neck oooohhh (I know my sister and bro-in-law will think they're cool). I'll check back later and I hope that you all are well. I've fixed it so that you can post comments - or at least I think I did. If you have any problems let me know and I will work at it again. I am still figuring this all out; I've spent most of the day working on this. It's like scrap booking but easier :), my sister just gagged I think ;).
